Yesterday we had the pleasure of coding and performing a performance upgrade on a 2019 Land Rover Evoque D150. The customer wanted to activate the automatic dimming function - also known as High Beam Assist - and subsequently decided to perform a performance upgrade. Coding of the automatic dimming (high beam assistant)
By coding the automatic dimming function, we were able to unlock an important comfort and safety function. This function ensures that the vehicle automatically switches between dipped and high beam when oncoming traffic is detected. This significantly improves visibility when driving at night without dazzling oncoming traffic.
The coding was carried out quickly and without any problems, so that the customer was able to benefit from the new function straight away. The automatic dimming function brings noticeable added value, especially on long journeys and in rural areas.

After the successful coding, the customer decided to further optimize the performance of his Land Rover Evoque D150. The engine of this model has 150 hp and 380 Nm of torque in the standard version. After our professional optimization, the performance was increased to an impressive 190 hp and 460 Nm of torque. This means an increase in power of 40 hp (27%) and an additional torque of 80 Nm (21%).
This performance increase not only improves the vehicle's acceleration, but also ensures more dynamic and agile handling. The difference is particularly noticeable when overtaking or on challenging road sections. The customer was very satisfied with the result and the new, powerful driving feel of his vehicle.
