When installing REMUS sports silencers and cat-back systems and replacement cat pipes designed for use on closed tracks, it is advantageous to perform an ECU remapping in order to utilize the optimal performance of the exhaust system and prevent the check engine light from illuminating.
When installing REMUS downpipes with and without a racing catalyst, which are designed for use on closed tracks, ECU remapping is required to avoid adversely affecting the running behavior of the engine and to prevent the check engine light from illuminating.
The use of racing products and products that do not have EC approval is not permitted on public roads or within the scope of the STVO/STVZO.
