The use of racing products and products that do not have EC approval is not permitted on public roads or within the scope of the STVO/STVZO.
To install the 089317 0000, the BMW original part "Tank thermal insulation", OE part number 51 48 8 060 077 must be used!
On vehicles with a gasoline particulate filter (GPF), the GPF must be deactivated in the engine control unit (ECU) or reprogrammed (ECU remapping) when installing the RACING Cat-Back pre-silencer replacement pipe, otherwise the check engine light will illuminate. This also results in improved performance and throttle response!
When installing REMUS sports silencers, cat-back systems and replacement cat pipes designed for use on closed circuits, it is advantageous to carry out an ECU remapping in order to exploit the optimal performance of the exhaust system and prevent the engine control light from illuminating.
