Our method – no opening, no drilling

We were the first to develop the bench protocol for these ECUs: reading and rewriting on a closed device – without opening or drilling into the waterproof housing. Others drill a hole in the housing and then seal it with plastic. That's precisely where water gets in, leading to defects in the already water-sensitive ECU. Not with us.

Your options

  • Software on your ECU: You send in your ECU – we process it the same day and send it back.
  • Plug-and-play ECU: Pre-programmed (Stage 1 + VMAX), in stock, shipped the same day. Old out, new in, drive off.
  • 1:1 Clone Service: We clone your VCU3000 function-ready onto a replacement unit – something no one else can do.
  • Individual VMAX: Top speed capped lower if desired – e.g., for increased range.
Top Speed & Battery Temperature
Full VMAX is a matter of battery temperature – pure physics, not software. Full power is available from approx. 15 °C. When cold, you start a bit slower, but once the battery is warm, you get the full 80 km/h. Warm up briefly – then your vehicle will deliver.

Range, Consumption & Reliability

Range & Consumption
With normal driving, consumption remains practically the same – you even drive more relaxed because you're no longer constantly pushing the limits. If you drive at full throttle continuously, you'll use more power and have less range – as with any EV.
Reliability
We stay within safe limits for the motor, controller, and battery. No extreme settings that overload components – instead, a result of factory quality.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the ECU need to be removed?
For the plug-and-play device, you remove your old ECU yourself and install ours – without special tools. For the software variant, you send in your ECU and get your optimized one back.
Can I choose any VMAX?
Yes. Freely up to 80 km/h or capped in 5 km/h increments (50/55/60/65 km/h) – depending on your use.
Can I revert to stock?
Yes, the optimization is reversible. We can flash back to the original state at any time.
Can the speed be switched at the push of a button?
Currently not. Many ask this – a clean button-based switching is currently not technically possible with these ECUs.
What about the warranty?
As with any optimization, we cannot rule out a possible loss of warranty. However, since everything is reversible, the original condition can be restored at any time.
