information on product safety
In many modern VAG engines, oil pressure is reduced by software in certain operating ranges (to reduce pump load).
This is precisely where our VAG Oil Pressure Fix comes in: We adjust the corresponding map/control strategy to increase the target oil pressure (typically approx. +1 bar, depending on the engine and ECU). The aim is more stable lubrication and thus a significant reduction in the risk of wear and possible consequential damage.
Supported Engine Control Units (ECU):
EDC17CP44
EDC17CP54
MD1CP004
MD1CP014
MD1CS004
MD1CS014
MG1CS002
MG1CS011
SIMOS18
Process:
On-site appointment:
Performed directly on the vehicle at one of our locations.
Remote:
Performed via remote flasher (also available as a rental device upon request - after prior arrangement with us).
Important note:
This software adaptation requires that there is no mechanical defect in the oil circuit (e.g., oil pump/control valve/oil filter housing/oil channels). In the event of hardware problems, the cause must first be rectified.
Pre-check (recommended):
Please send us the ECU designation (e.g., MD1CP014) and vehicle data in advance so that we can confirm compatibility.
