The new 4-way adjustable KW V5 Clubsport offers the latest KW Solid Piston GT3 motorsport suspension technology for the sportiest street vehicles with sports tire setup for use on the race track and on the street. The entire chassis design of the KW V5 Clubsport coilover suspension with its uniball bearings is designed for the use of semi-slick tires on near-production vehicles.
KW Solid Piston Technology for racetrack and road
In contrast to vibration dampers with overflowing working pistons, KW uses its KW Solid Piston Technology (displacement piston structure) for the KW V5 Clubsport coilover suspension, which has been proven in motorsport and homologated in vehicles such as the BMW M4 GT3 and Porsche 911 GT3 R. The compression and rebound valves, which can be adjusted separately for the low-speed and high-speed forces, are arranged separately from the damper inner tube and the piston rod. As a result, the KW V5 Clubsport with adjustable KW SPCLH-A (KW Solid Piston Compression Low- and Highspeed Adjustable) compression damping and KW SPRLH-A (KW Solid Piston Rebound Low- and Highspeed Adjustable) rebound damping offers significant added value.
