The cast aluminum end boxes were designed in CAD and optimized using CFD simulations to maximize internal airflow. An integrated air duct in the end box ensures even filling of the Competition high-performance core. The intercooler's inlets and outlets have been enlarged to 65 mm in diameter, which is why this kit includes reinforced silicone hoses. The result is an intercooler with significantly less backpressure compared to the stock model.
