The Wagner Tuning high-performance intercooler features a new competition core (Tube Fin) measuring 600 mm x 204.6 mm x 80 mm (9.8 liters), which was specifically developed for the demands of the Fiat 500 Abarth. This high-performance core offers an 85% larger airflow area and 131% more core volume compared to the original intercoolers. The cast aluminum end boxes were designed in CAD and optimized using CFD simulations (for ideal internal airflow).
For the best possible heat exchange, the Wagner Tuning high-performance intercooler is installed in the front of the vehicle, replacing the two original side coolers. Combined with the Wagner Tuning silicone hoses, the newly developed elliptical hose connection at the outlet of this intercooler enables the maximum possible reduction in the charge air path. This, along with the generally lower back pressure of the charge air system (see diagram), significantly improves the overall throttle response.
An anti-corrosion coating with heat-conducting properties protects the Wagner Tuning intercooler from all environmental influences, ensuring long-lasting and optimal cooling performance. Installation is achieved by replacing the original intercooler and is easy to perform (plug and play). All our products are subject to continuous quality control.
