The Competition high-performance intercooler impressed with generous core dimensions of 550 mm x 445 mm x 70 mm, corresponding to a total volume of 17,130 cm³. This impressive size provides a 134% larger airflow area and a 105% increase in charge air volume compared to the standard intercooler. The high-quality tube fin core with internal turbulators ensures optimal airflow and maximum cooling performance. Despite its impressive dimensions, the total weight of the intercooler is just 9.5 kg, enabling weight savings and improved vehicle dynamics.
The cast aluminum intercooler end boxes were optimized using CFD flow analysis to achieve outstanding cooling performance with minimal backpressure. The connection diameters at the intercooler inlet are 62 mm and the intercooler outlet are 67 mm to ensure optimal flow efficiency.
Another highlight is the anti-corrosion coating with excellent thermal conductivity, which is included with all our intercoolers. This ensures long-lasting and optimal cooling with a significant increase in performance. The intercooler kit is completely ready to install and can be easily replaced with the standard intercooler – simply plug and play. It has been tested up to 6 bar and is pressure-stable, so you can rely on its reliability. Our products are subject to constant quality control to ensure the highest standards.
