Featuring a high-quality cooling core that offers an additional 118% more external core volume compared to the standard intercooler, our intercooler sets new standards in cooling performance. The ratio of inner to outer cooling surface ensures maximum heat transfer and optimal internal airflow. CFD simulations were used to develop the end boxes from high-quality, gravity-cast aluminum to ensure optimal airflow conditions. The 4.0L V8 twin-turbo engine in the Audi RS6 and RS7 models is equipped with an indirect charge air cooling circuit. Therefore, the charge air cooling process is not achieved with ambient air as usual, but rather with a dedicated cooling water circuit. A reduction in the coolant temperature directly leads to improved charge air cooling performance. This is where the advantages of our Wagner Tuning additional water cooler come into play.
Our newly developed Competition racing core expands the cooling volume of the stock radiator by an impressive 92%. The ratio of inner to outer cooling surface ensures maximum heat transfer while allowing sufficient airflow to adjacent components such as the engine radiator.
