This high-performance intercooler features a revolutionary Competition fin (Tube Fin) with impressive dimensions of 590 mm x 425 mm x 65 mm. This corresponds to an external core volume of 16.3 liters. Compared to the standard intercooler, the WagnerTuning Competition intercooler for the VW Amarok offers a stunning 81% increase in external core volume.
The cast aluminum end boxes were precisely designed in CAD and optimized using CFD simulations for ideal internal airflow. Intelligent airflow in the cooler inlet ensures even filling of the intercooler core. The result? Excellent cooling properties with minimal backpressure. The newly developed Competition high-performance core also ensures sufficient air supply to adjacent components such as the radiator. The cooler itself remains incredibly light.
