Extended access
New access and unlock options for supported control units.
What is Korhex
Korhex extends your FLEX ECU-/TCU programmer with a defined microcontroller contact point. The hardware works with guided boot-glitch procedures in FLEX for accessing supported protected control units.
Opening a protected control unit used to mean flipping the board, desoldering resistors, and manually wiring boot pins—each step takes bench time and increases the risk of board damage. On supported procedures, Korhex replaces this manual work with a single, defined MCU contact point.
New access and unlock options for supported control units.
No resistors to remove, no unnecessary hardware changes.
In supported procedures, the boot pin does not need to be connected by hand.
The required MCU point is reached without turning the ECU board over.
The Korhex approach
Hardware that makes the difference: Korhex complements FLEX where direct microcontroller contact is required.
You position the hardware with the matching mask and then continue in the guided FLEX procedure. Which access methods are available is determined by the ECU protocol in use.
Guided flow
In three steps to access: preparation, unlock, and programming all remain in your FLEX workflow. Always follow the guide for the specific control unit.
Prepare the control unit according to the FLEX-guided procedure and place Korhex on the intended MCU contact point using the dedicated masks.
Run the required access and unlock operation on the supported control unit without desoldering or manual boot-pin wiring, where the procedure allows.
Continue with the familiar FLEX programming flow directly. The process is fully integrated into your existing FLEX workflow.

Buy nowKorhex is a hardware expansion for the Magicmotorsport FLEX ECU-/TCU programmer. On supported procedures, it enables direct access to a defined microcontroller contact point, for example for ECU unlock workflows.
Korhex is used in supported advanced ECU access procedures where FLEX must interact directly with the microcontroller. Depending on the control unit and FLEX protocol, these include boot glitch and other unlock procedures.
No. Korhex does not program control units on its own. FLEX runs the supported procedure and then performs the available read and write operations.
No. Korhex was designed as an extension for the FLEX ecosystem and only works with the procedures intended for FLEX software.
Korhex is positioned with the matching mask on the contact point defined by the relevant FLEX procedure. There, the hardware provides the required connection for the supported access or unlock operation.
For supported procedures with direct MCU contact, Korhex is designed to avoid resistor removal, board flipping, and manual boot-pin wiring. The exact FLEX procedure always remains the definitive guidance.
Compatibility depends on the control unit, microcontroller, and available FLEX protocol. Therefore check the current FLEX Vehicle List and the procedure stored in FLEX for that specific control unit before use.
FLEX Full Master and Full Slave customers use the supported procedures included in their active software configuration. Without full configuration, the FLEX Boot Glitch license FLS0.20M/S is required for supported Korhex procedures. We can review the right setup with you.
As a FLEX Full customer with active subscription you need Korhex hardware. For an existing FLEX without full configuration, hardware is available together with the Boot Glitch license. If you are new to FLEX, we can build the right package with you from FLEX hardware, Korhex hardware, and software license.
Magicmotorsport continues to develop the Korhex platform and FLEX coverage. The current FLEX Vehicle List shows which applications are available; future support cannot be inferred from it.
