Audi RS3 8V Sportback/Sedan 294KW/400PS 08/2017+
The new EVO3.X core variant was developed in collaboration with a renowned Audi tuner and is suitable for higher performance increases starting at 600 hp. The size of the intercooler remains unchanged from the standard version. Only the internal core structure has been further optimized for the higher performance classes and adapted to the specific conditions. Thus, the EVO3.X ensures optimal charge air flow with excellent cooling performance. For all performance classes below 600 hp, we still recommend using the standard version.
The high-performance intercooler has the following core dimensions (515mm x 367mm x 95mm [stepped] = 16.5L), offering an 84% larger inlet area and 101% more charge air volume compared to the original intercooler. The newly developed Competition high-performance core ensures sufficient airflow to adjacent components, such as the radiator. It is a high-quality tube fin core with internal turbulators. The intercooler end boxes are made of cast aluminum and were optimized using flow analysis in a CFD system. Integrated air baffles in the inlet ensure even filling of the intercooler. The result is excellent cooling properties with minimal backpressure. This makes this kit ideal for racing. In addition, all of our intercoolers feature an anti-corrosion coating with heat-conducting properties. This guarantees long-lasting and optimal cooling with a significant increase in performance. The intercooler and crossmember form a stable unit. Installation is carried out using the original mounting points and is easy to perform (a 1:1 replacement). Tested to 6 bar and pressure-resistant. All our products are subject to continuous quality control.
