The 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine (M178 DE 40 AL) of your AMG model is equipped with an indirect charge air cooling circuit, which is replaced by our innovative intercooler.
Our high-performance intercooler features a new performance core measuring 209 mm x 175 mm x 110 mm, specifically engineered to meet the demanding requirements of your AMG engine. With an impressive 86% larger external core volume compared to the original cooler, the optimal ratio of inner to outer cooling surface enables maximum heat transfer and optimal internal airflow. The cast aluminum end boxes were optimized using the latest CAD technology and CFD simulations to ensure outstanding cooling performance with minimal backpressure. This kit is therefore also ideally suited for racing and ensures optimal cooling of the charged air with a significant increase in power!
