The Audi RS6/RS7 and Audi S6/S7 feature an indirect charge air cooling circuit, where the charge air is cooled by a water-cooled intercooler. In this vehicle, the intercooler is located specifically in the hot V of the engine; to ensure optimal cooling, an upgrade of the OEM intercooler is necessary.
Our unique Wagner Tuning Performance intercooler was specifically developed for the demanding requirements of the RS models. The high-quality cooling core offers an additional 118% more external core volume compared to the standard intercooler. The ratio of inner to outer cooling surface ensures maximum heat transfer while enabling optimal internal airflow. CFD simulations developed the end boxes from high-quality die-cast aluminum to ensure optimal airflow conditions. The result is outstanding cooling properties with minimal backpressure.
