When using the GPF replacement pipe, the lambda sensors must be unplugged and insulated. No blind connections are present! Additionally, when installing the optional GPF replacement pipe, the GPF must be deactivated in the engine control unit or the engine control unit must be reprogrammed (ECU remapping), otherwise the check engine light will illuminate. This will also result in improved performance and throttle response.
The use of racing products and products that do not have EC approval is not permitted on public roads or within the scope of the STVO/STVZO
When installing REMUS sports silencers, cat-back systems and replacement cat pipes designed for use on closed tracks, it is advantageous to perform an ECU remapping in order to exploit the optimal performance of the exhaust system and prevent the check engine light from illuminating.
