KW also offers you the option of combining the active standard damper control of your sporty vehicle with the KW DDC Plug & Play coilover suspension made of stainless steel. This means that you can continue to use the existing active damper control in your car, such as the VW Scirocco, VW Golf VI, VW Passat, BMW 3 Series and other models, in conjunction with a continuously variable lowering system.
The best thing about it: Apart from replacing the adaptive standard suspension with the KW DDC Plug & Play coilover suspension, no further conversion steps or even modifications to the on-board electronics are necessary. The adaptive KW dampers are simply connected to the original plugs from your car manufacturer via the KW DDC plug connection. The standard control unit then takes over the regulation and control of the KW DDC Plug & Play coilover suspension.

This means that the adaptive KW DDC Plug & Play coilover suspension is immediately recognized by the on-board electronics. This means that all displays and controls on your production vehicle remain fully functional and combine the advantages of an adaptive damping system with the stylish and sporty lowering of a high-quality KW coilover suspension. By exclusively using stainless steel and durable components, the functionality of the rust-free KW coilover suspension remains intact under all weather conditions. The dirt-resistant trapezoidal thread and the polyamide thread ring also make adjustment possible, for example after a snowy winter. In a salt spray test, no oxidation occurred on the KW coilover struts. This means that the adjustment of the stepless lowering is not affected even after years.
